Our purpose

Taiwan Worker Guide helps migrant workers and the people supporting them turn a confusing problem into a practical first step. A useful guide should explain what to record, which question to ask, and when to contact an official service. We do not publish pages only to match a search phrase or display advertising.

Research and sources

We begin with Taiwan government information, especially the Workforce Development Agency and the 1955 Labor Consultation and Complaint Hotline. Each problem guide links readers back to official sources and shows a review date. If a rule, deadline, or individual case may differ, the page tells readers to verify it with 1955 or the responsible authority.

Original practical value

Our contribution is the practical layer around official information: evidence checklists, short timelines, call preparation, Taiwan-specific terms, and tools for salary records and daily life. Navigation and summary pages are kept separate from pages that carry advertising. We do not treat automatically translated or lightly adapted text as a finished guide.

Writing, translation, and review

Drafting and translation may use software assistance, including AI-assisted tools. Before publication, we check the page structure, Taiwan context, official links, emergency guidance, and whether the language clearly distinguishes general information from an individual decision. Language review status and correction channels are published on the translation quality page.

Corrections and updates

Readers can report an unclear translation, outdated link, or factual concern by emailing hello@taiwanworkerguide.com with the page URL and passage. We compare the report with the original source, correct confirmed problems, and update the page review date when a substantive check is completed.

Advertising independence

Advertising does not determine which problems we cover, which official sources we cite, or the conclusion of a guide. Ads are not presented as government help, 1955 services, downloads, or required next steps. Trust pages, navigation pages, translation information, and selected utility pages do not carry advertising.

Limits
